At Madrigal Gardens we grow vegetables and melons, raise a few chickens for eggs and meat, grow micro greens and provide these to you through custom orders, farm gate sales, Peterborough Regional Farmers Market and Lakefield Farmer’s Market. We are a family run farm, once beef cattle, now lettuce and tomatoes. Our gardens have increased in size and scope each year. This season we are producing greens (lettuce varieties, kale, Swiss chard), herbs, tomatoes, peppers, squash, melons to name a few. We produce Hot sauce and Hot Pepper Jelly with our peppers. The gardens are organic (no certification currently) so we do not use herbicides or pesticides. Vegetables are provided in season so as the seasons change so do the offerings.
